Thanks to Nick Smart and LondonJazz's Seb Scotney, I was recently able to do a Q&A with Dave Douglas. Dave gives great answers, well worth a read!

Recording, recording...

Last week I went into the studio with my big band to record our first album, produced by the awesome Colin Towns.

The band played amazingly, and the sound off the desk was already great, but we also spent three days with Colin and sound superhero Toby Wood polishing things up. The end result is something really exciting.
